Ruben was adopted back in June to a single older woman with no cats since we knew our boy was not good with them. But she has sold her house and is moving in with her daughter who has two cats.

Alot has happened since his adoption we have found out that he has no separation issues he is in fact left loose in the house for nine hours with no problems.He now weighs eighty pounds and walks great on a leash but will need a owner willing to continue obedience classes.  Ruben is great with other dogs especially females but he is not good with cats.

He would be best in a home with older children since he is still a big puppy that likes to jump up to greet you.Please if you are Rubens forever home email me direct laurar@together.net

Ruben in his short one year life has spent most of his life in a no-kill shelter in NC.  He is having a bit of a hard time adjusting to a home life.  He is afraid of the most simple noises.  He is not destructive, but will shake and tremble at the sounds of a coo-coo clock or thunder. 

He needs an understanding home that will work with him through his anxiety of living in a home environment.  Otherwise, he is very loving, enjoys people, loves to play especially with people and kids.  Is good with other dogs and enjoys being cuddled and loves giving big boxer hugs.  

He is a puppy that needs to know the world is a safe place.  Can you help this boy find his forever home?

Ruben is a cute one year old male white boxer.  He loves other dogs and can be quite submissive with them.  He is not good with cats. He is housebroken and enjoys sitting with his head in your lap.  Ruben is good with kids and enjoys long walks and playing chase with other dogs.

He will need obedience training since we will be a big boy, (he weighs sixty pounds).  Strange noises scare him so he will need a home that will be patient with him.  Whoever adopts Ruben will be a lucky family as he is a real sweet boy!!
