Mason Mason is a 2 yr. old flashy fawn male boxer. He is cuter than cute. He is neutered and up to date on shots and on HW preventative. He has a docked tail and natural ears. He is 46 lbs and can stand to gain a few. After Broadway Barks we headed to the NYC shelter in E. Harlem and saw him and threw him in our car and headed back to PA with him. He is very sweet and loves to be near you or on top of you. He is in my home with 3 other dogs and 3 kids ages 7,11 and 13. I can tell he has never lived with a child or the kids he knew were not kind to him for he is leery with them. He is fine with them when I am with him but you can tell he is unsure of them. I am sure in time he will be fine. My kids love him anyway and he is warming up to them slowly. He is housebroken and very quiet. He must have lived in a closet, everything is new to him. Strange for a city dog, his nails were very long. He was not well taken care of. If you make sudden large moves to pick up an object he cowers. He is slowly getting used to being in a normal family home. He loves every adult he sees and cant get enough attention. He does well on the leash and had a great vet visit. I would say a home with older kids would be fine, kids that can understand that they need to let him come to them and get to know them so he can trust them. Kids over 12.
