Gus is a young fawn male puppy.  Here is an update from his foster mom:

Gus is doing much better.  That first night was kind of scary, between his lack of consciousness and rapid/shallow breathing.

As Susan told you they kept him overnight at the emergency clinic and gave him an IV and antibiotics.  The vet said it was a combination of the anesthesia, being extremely dehydrated and a respiratory infection.

I picked him up the next morning his energy level was increased.  As the day went on his energy increased and HERE COMES THE PUPPY!  Jumping around, getting into mischief.  It was great to see.

He is going outside without a problem.  We taught him to sit.  We are working with him.  Our older daughter Julianna is really taking the time to train him.

It is also amazing to watch Remy teach the little guy the ropes.
