Jobee and Josee have settled in very quickly.  They love to lie on the couches although they have learned they should only climb up when their sheet covers the couch.  Jobee is very good at sharing - he has to be- if Josee wants to get on the couch with him, she will just climb up and sit on him until he moves over!

Jobee also enjoys lying on the grass in the sun, watching the world go by.  Josee prefers to be in the house where she can see us, although she likes to know where Jobee is at all times.

At bedtime, they sleep on their beds at the foot of ours.  Sometimes Josee will climb onto Jobee's bed and snuggle up with him until he gets too squashed and has to move.  We found out that Jobee likes to be covered with an old towel
when he goes to bed, I think he feels the cold a little more than Josee and he looks so cute snuggled under it!  They sleep through the night from 11:30 pm to 7:30 am although they do like to wake briefly for a full body lick at about 6:00 am!!

We call Jobee "The Prince" because he is so regal looking and has such decorum.  We call Josee "The Diva" because she wants everything her own way!  (We used to call her "The Keg" because she was as round as a keg, but she's much trimmer
now.)

We have never crated them, and I don't think they would like it much.  In their previous home they had a dog door to come and go. They need a house with a fenced yard as they have been trained to chase squirrels and other such wildlife.  When in the yard they show no interest in escaping beyond the fence and totally ignore the noisy dogs in our neighbor's yard.

They have a selection of toys which they play with sporadically.  Neither of them seems to chase and fetch - they look at us like we're nuts if we throw a ball for them!!  Josee likes to play with a Kong filled with peanut butter.  Jobee obviously feels it's too much work for him so he ignores it. When I bring them into the office, they like to play with a squeaky stuffed penguin whenever I'm in the middle of a conference call - bless them....!!!

We really love them both.  They have such sweet personalities, and the 2 of them together are the absolute best Boxers can offer. Having a pair of Boxers is not much work at all, and the rewards and love you get back are fantastic, and the two of them keep each other company.

Please consider giving these little love bugs a permanent home.

/01/04 -Josee and Jobee

Jobee (4 yrs) and Josee (2 yrs) are a wonderful pair of Boxers with natural ears and docked tails.  They are very friendly and loving, always ready to wiggle at you.  They are totally housebroken, very good around food, and happy to meet everyone.

In our house they have each claimed a couch and can be found reclining at any time.  Jobee likes to lay in the living room so he can watch everyone walk by, whereas Josee likes to follow me around, she even tries to come in the bathroom with me!  The only place she won't go is down the stairs to the basement, although she will climb the stairs to the 2nd floor.  Josie also has to be lifted into the car and helped out, she doesn't like heights.

They are a very sweet pair who do not like to be separated.  They come to work with me and lay quietly under the desk in my office.  They both walk well on the leash and adore riding in the car.  Josee is protective of her "brother" when other dogs are nearby, however, they seem oblivious to other dogs all the time they are in the garden, where they chase each other around.  Neither of them like cats, although they don't seem to mind small, caged animals like guinea pigs or birds.

Josie and Jobie are in excellent health.  Josie needs to lose a bit more weight as she's quite a podgy girl at the moment and likes her food!  They are excellent company and very easy to live with.  I hope somebody can offer them a forever home where they can stay together.
