6/9/05 - On Hold 3/8/05 - Poor little Lucy was found chained at the Baltimore Zoo. She had a collar that was embedded into her neck. Lucky for Lucy a wildlife rescue organization took responsibility for her care. They contacted local rescues and breeders asking for help but no one responded. Poor Lucy sat in a vet hospital for 6 weeks until we were contacted. NBR immediately offered to have a nearby foster home pick her up. The foster home has found this petite girl to be a delight. She is affectionate with everyone and likes other dogs and has no issues with cats. Lucy has a nice settled temperament and adoring eyes. She is spayed and up to date on her vaccines and has tested negative for heartworm…thankfully. The foster home reports that Lucy has had a few accidents since her arrival but feels as long as she is kept on a schedule she is fine. Lucy is a quick learner. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an online application first. Then e-mail ALL contacts listed below.
