Placed by Family Unfortunately disaster has struck Hannah’s life once again. Hannah’s devoted caretaker has died and none of the woman’s children or grandchildren want to keep Hannah in the family. Hannah was brought to an animal hospital and we were notified that if we could not find Hannah a home that she should be “put to sleep”. Hannah is a ten to twelve year old beautiful fawn senior boxer and she weighs approximately fifty pounds. She is excellent with cats and would share her bed and food with the family cat (unfortunately the family cat died two weeks prior to the death of their caretaker). Hannah walks excellent on a leash and will stick close by your side. She is housebroken and in perfect health. The staff at the animal hospital believes she has the personality and energy of a young dog and just by looking at her could not judge her to look older then five. She is fine with children but can be dominate with other dogs; we feel she could be fine with a mellow companion dog. We have no open foster homes that are a suitable match for her at this time. Hannah was a loyal companion for years and we feel Hannah deserves better then to be dumped at a kennel. Hannah is lonely and confused; she sits and waits for an owner that will never return. Please open your heart to this sweet love of a Boxer.
