Brendan has been adopted!!

BRENDAN is a beautiful 18-month-old sweetheart of a
boxer. He has spent much of his life tethered to a banister for 10 hours
a day. His only play or exercise was on a contained deck where he was
also sent to relieve himself.
When we brought Brendan to the vet she found him to
be suffering from non-contagious demodectic mange and a secondary skin
infection. Brendan is also malnourished, weighing only 40 pounds at 18
months. The vet has put Brendan on oral Ivermectin for his mange and
antibiotics for his skin condition. If all goes well, Brendan will be
neutered in two weeks.
Currently, a local kennel has been generous enough
to donate a space for Brendan but he needs much more. A dedicated
volunteer goes to the kennel daily to give Brendan his medication and
spend some one-on-one time with him; however, Brendan desperately needs to
be in a home setting where he can get more consistent attention.
In spite of his sad puppyhood, lack of attention,
socialization and health woes, Brendan has maintained a love of people, a
GREAT willingness to please, and a joyful spirit. Brendan will do best in
a home where someone will be there most of the time. He needs a loving and
patient family to give him the attention and care he so desires. In
return, you will be rewarded with the affections of a loyal and faithful
dog.
