Hank is an approximately 7 year old Bluetick Coonhound mix with a very regal attitude. NBR was asked to step in to save Hank’s life by a fellow rescuer who fell in love with him. We don’t have much history about Hank but, even though he appears he did not have a great deal of human affection, he loves people; and all who have met Hank feel that way about him.

Hank has a lot of energy, and loves to run and play, so he will need a fenced yard. Hank would do best in an adult home with an experienced hound owner and no young children or cats. He is housebroken but could use a refresher course on leash walking.

We are currently boarding Hank at a kennel which is undoubtedly not the best place for a dog. However, since we have no available foster homes, we had no choice….the alternative was death.
