Lola has been adopted

My name is Lola and I'm
a show girl ... well I might not be a show girl but I sure am a show
stopper. I am a gorgeous fawn colored boxer and I sport the loveliest
black mask and white boots you will ever see. I have long lean legs like
a model and I love to exercise. Unfortunately I had to leave my family
because the new baby was hospitalized with allergies and the doctor would
not let the baby come home until I was gone from the home.
I am sweet and demur, just like a good fashion model
should be, though I am not fond of the camera. I do like to play coy and
I can not pass up a good game of peek-a-boo or a tempting belly rub. I am
quick like a gazelle and I live to jump high in the air like a rabbit (my
foster mommy keeps asking me where I am hiding the springs but I don't
know what springs are - but if I am hiding them, they are probably in my
toy chest). I am quiet when crated even though this is a new training
technique for me.
I LOVE to chow down (even though I know this
is not model behavior) and should not be “free fed.” I like scheduled
feeding times broken up throughout the day, and I love doggie
biscuits....I can’t get enough of them.
When I wait quietly by the door, my foster mommy
lets me go outside on a leash to do my business. I would really love a
home where I can run around outside in a fenced yard with some new friends
(human and canine alike). My old family loved to take me for runs on the
beach. I would like to do the same or do similar exercises with someone.
I am learning how to behave around cats (these are a
new experience for me). They seem to be small quick moving fluff balls
which want to play with me but keep swiping at my nose when I start my
"boxer pounce" play with them. I think we will be good friends
eventually.
I miss my family but I am having fun with my nice foster family. They are
very kind to me but I can’t wait until I have a home to call my own. I
just went to the doctors to get spayed and, although I never had puppies,
it will be nice not to worry about that anymore. I will have more time to
devote to my new family.
