Mollie has been adopted!
9/16/06 -
Mollie is a 10 month old adorable female Brindle
Boxer. She is a petite and well taken care of little girl. Someone in
Mollie’s family is ill and they could no longer have her in the house.
Her family have many years of experience with Boxers and they love
Mollie very much and wish they didn’t have give her up.
Mollie is up to date on all of her vaccinations
and has been spayed. Mollie’s only irregularity is her ears. Her ears
were cropped by a veterinarian that did a poor job and this cute puppy
has to pay the price. Her ears were cut in a long “show crop”, but they
rotted during the healing process and half of her ears fell off. The
pain that poor Mollie must have endured undergoing this needless
cosmetic procedure is unthinkable. Mollie’s previous family feel
terrible about her scarred ears and wished they had never decided to
have them cut in the first place.
Mollie has typical puppy energy and would be best
placed in a home that has older children, and/or a more mature dog, but
most importantly a fenced in yard. She needs to run, play with her toys
and socialize with other dogs. Mollie does not have an aggressive bone
in her body and will lick you, kiss you, roll on her back and try to
play with you for as long as allowed. She does settle down and will
cozy up into her bed.
She is crate trained while left home alone, and
she even gets along well with cats. Mollie grew up with 5 cats, and she
is currently living with two dogs and 3 cats in her foster home. Mollie
has some allergy issues that need to be addressed and we will give an
update about this after we evaluate her condition.
