10/22/06 -

Angus is a 7 month old neutered male boxer with gorgeous brindle fur covering his tall lean body.  He has a blaze of white on his chest and a splotch of white on his nose. He was surrendered to a shelter due to an illness in the family and we were called by the shelter for assistance.

Angus is getting used to his new surroundings with his foster family which includes older children, other dogs, and cats.  He is learning dog etiquette from his new foster brothers and sisters; shelter life did not promote healthy social dog interactions, and he was an only dog in his previous home.  He loves his new fenced in yard and is looking for a permanent home with lots of fenced in space to run and run and run.  He is also in need of a comfortable bed in which to rest those running legs for a snore-filled nap.

Angus is a joyful dog with plenty of puppy still packed into his tall, handsome body. He attended several clicker training classes so he has a good start on his training.  He has knowledge of some basic obedience commands, but prefers to be the goofy kid that seems to be his true nature.  He is going to be a wonderful addition to a busy home with lots of time to play and nap.
