Lucy and her sisters Sparrow and Casey came into rescue after we were contacted by a good Samaritan who was concerned about their welfare.  The puppies came from a backyard breeder who did not have the resources to properly care for them.  Sparrow had an injury to her eye which appeared to be caused by a dog bite and, unfortunately, the eye could not be saved.

 

Lucy is fawn with classic white markings, Sparrow is a reverse brindle, and Casey is fawn with a black mask.  We were told that the puppies were born on December 1, 2006, and our vet confirms that the puppies growth is consistent with a puppy of that age.  The puppies all have natural ears and long tails, and are adorable.  The puppies are together in one of our experienced foster homes and they are getting well socialized with people, dogs, and cats.

 

The puppies have been given their necessary inoculations, have been dewormed, and have also been spayed.
