First update from
his new foster home:
“Guinness is doing
beautifully. We have
begun calling him
MacGuinness since
his stay with us.
Mac is one smart
cookie. He has
learned how to go in
and out the doggie
door in just a few
short days and loves
to run around in the
fenced backyard.
MacGuinness also
seems to be getting
along with my
daughter's dog. Both
play outside in the
yard but we have yet
to have both inside
close quarters. We
want to take
everything slow.
Mr. Mac loves the
car. We actually
left him in the car
by himself for two
short periods of
time; both instances
were where we could
watch him to make
sure there were no
signs of him being
being distressed. He
did great! We will
gradually begin
leaving him in the
house alone for
short intervals
while we are out in
the yard.
Mac
hears many sounds
that are different
than the city and he
is puzzled at times
but adjusting well
overall.
Did I tell you that
he talks? Very
definitive and
pointed. It is not a
whine nor a bark. We
talk back and forth
and have interesting
chats.”
