Arizona is a Name a Boxer dog! Thank you Molly Luna Iris for naming Arizona. “This donation is in honor of my friend Brooke's dog who just died while Brooke and her new husband were on their honeymoon. Izzie was a wonderful dog and Brooke will miss her very much. Brooke and I went to graduate school together in Arizona. Arizona brought us close and where Brook spent most of her years with Izzie.”
2/1/08 - Arizona has been adopted!! 10/7/07 - Arizona's foster mom resports:
Our "little sausage" has
slimmed down quite a bit ... although she is still a hefty girl. She
has not had an official weigh in, however, I'm going to guess she has
shed around 8-10lbs. She is definitely feeling better ;o)
Arizona loves little
people and her love affair with Pierre (the household feline;o) is still
going strong.
Arizona is very well
behaved and loved by all she meets.
8/12/07 -
Arizona has arrived in her new foster home. She was a
bit timid at first, having to move from the only home she has ever known
after 6 years but, in no time at all, Arizona settled in and is doing
magnificently! This charismatic girl immediately warmed up to her new
found friends…my daughter, our house Pug and resident kitty.
Arizona is quite mild mannered and not as mischievous as other boxers we all know and love. She loves to play with her toys and her favorite game is basketball. "The princess" enjoys her walks (we are working on distance since she is out of shape) and does well on a leash. She also likes her freedom in the fenced yard, fully supervised of course! Arizona is also a trailblazer. She delights in spreading a trail of her food throughout the entire downstairs while eating, so every couple of steps she can take a nibble here and a nibble there. She is a charmer that loves to give you her paw, and snuggle right up next to you making sure one paw is touching at all times. We are working on her fitness regimen. As with most ladies, when we get older we all want to lose a pound or two….Arizona could stand to lose about 10 lbs.;o) She currently weighs 78lbs. I know once she trims down, she will be more comfortable and spunky. If you are looking for an adorable companion, with an irresistible smile and warm heart, Arizona is the perfect fit.
