In Memory: Roscoe
Here's a picture of Roscoe our wonderful white
boxer. He was 4 1/2 years old. A visitor thoughtlessly let him out
and forgot about him. He was hit by a car and suffered severe concussion
leading to convulsions and heart failure. So sad.
There
was not a mark on him, no broken bones, no fractured skull. He lingered
for about a week and died the day after Thanksgiving 2000.
Rosc belonged to the
entire family. He accompanied my son to Palm Springs, where he
lived for six months before he returned last July. He could hike
for miles and climb 14,000 foot mountains. Everywhere we went,
people would notice him. We miss our strong boy very much.
Two weeks ago we got Flash, who is now 8 weeks old. He's already
in our hearts.
Thanks for the opportunity.
