10/20/02 - Sierra is back. She was adopted 8/5/02. She was great in her new home but did not like the cat. We must place her in a home without cats.

7/03/03 -  Well, after only a couple of days, I have come to the conclusion that Sierra is smart, gentle and an all around great dog.  She's housebroken and will go to the door to let you know if she's got to go out.  She does not need any crating at all - she touches nothing in the house.  She was initially very curious about the cat - I'm guessing she's never seen one before.  But after a few swats on the nose, she's discovered that the cat is much more friendly when he comes to her and she gently lies down.  She loves to play and is learning that typical boxer head butt.  She's good with other dogs and the only thing she doesn't seem to like are birds - I don't know why, but she just doesn't like them!  She is beginning to learn some basic commands - come (needs work), sit (needs lots of work), down (well, maybe someday).  She is wonderful on leash, no pulling.  Sierra also loves to ride in the car, jumps right in and plants herself at the window.  She is learning, thanks to my dogs, that she can bark when someone knocks on the door, but other then that, you never hear a peep out of her.  She never jumps up on people and I she's a delight with young children.  She does not spook at all - if something falls, kids are running around, thunder, nothing seems to faze her - she's rock solid.  Sierra will make a wonderful addition to a family who is looking for a sweet, kind, gentle girl who is extremely happy laying on the couch.

7/01/02 -  Sierra is a 3 - 4 year old, white female. She gets along with both dogs and cats in her foster home. Sierra is very playful and seems to be housebroken and crate trained.
