2/24/02 - Ally-Sheba is in desperate need of your help. A police officer saw her tied in a backyard in South Carolina. She was in such bad condition that the animal control officer removed her from the home. She was extremely underweight. He had never seen a dog thinner then she was. All were concerned she would not make it.
Sheba is now safe in Massachusetts. Her problem now is she is heartworm positive. Our vet treated her this past week and now she needs a foster or forever home to recuperate in. Sheba needs a quiet environment for 6 more weeks.
The pictures of Sheba were taken in the home she was brought to before her treatment. She had gained a good amount of weight in the 2 months she was there. Unfortunately they cannot take her back because of a family health issue. Sheba is still at our veterinarian's office. If you can help Sheba please e-mail the contact below.
