"Auggie"
This dog has been adopted but has not yet completed the two week "trial period" in it's new home. Should the placement prove to be a poor fit for dog and/or family, he/she will be moved to the AVAILABLE section on the Available Dogs page.

7/23/01 - Auggie- is just 1 yr old. He was sitting in a pet store looking so sickly a nice fellow felt he had to buy him in order to save his life. Although he knew a dog was not the practical choice at the time, he felt that he could just save the poor little guy and later find him the right home where people could spend more time with him. Auggie is now healthy and ready for his new home. He is good with kids, sleeps in bed with his person, is crate trained, housebroken and very playful. He gets a small rash on his chest every now and then, but the vet can not figure out what it is. This is very common in boxers, as they tend to get "little skin things". It is possible that an oily vitamin supplement could clear it right up (really, no biggie). Auggie is very accustomed to being the spoiled special guy of the house, so if you are prepared to spoil this guy in every which way, he will make you one happy home.
