07/10/03 - Penny

Penny just came to us today! She is a VERY sweet 7 - 8 year old fawn spayed female. 

Her owner recently passed away - and now she finds herself in rescue with us! She is very sweet - loves to get and give love and kisses! She rides well in the car, is house trained and gets along great with my dominant female boxer, and with the ornery corgi that is in her foster home. Also in her foster home are 5 cats and several cages of rats, mice and other such creatures - and Penny gets along with them all great! She ignores the caged creatures - and just sniffed the kitties once - then ignored them. 

Penny is used to being with younger kids - as she was often visited by a 7 year old. Penny had spent her days with her owner who was retired - but after he passed away she quickly got used to being alone, uncrated for 8 hours a day. 

Don't let her age fool you though - she still has spunk! She loves to go for jogs, and to play in the yard - however she is able to settle in for afternoon naps too!

Penny would love a warm, loving home to spend the rest of her years! Are YOU willing to give her that home?
