Trini is a Three legged boxer mix that was rescue from a high kill shelter. After her rescue she was caught in flash floodings and ended up traveling in the car for twelve hours her rescuer said she was a total angel just curled up and slept the whole trip. This sweet girl has had a sad life her owners let her wander once to often and she ended up in a shelter where they gas dogs and puppies after three days.Trini a staff favorite survived for two weeks since no one at the shelter had the heart to put her in the gas chamber. This is what her foster home has to say about her:
-----

Here is a description of Trini for the website. She is probably between 3-5 years old and approximately 43 pounds, with natural ears and a tail. We will try to get better pictures when we have more time.

Trini (Trinity) was rescued from a kill shelter a day before her time was up. When we first heard about her, she was described as a white boxer with three legs. As you can see from the pictures, she is not white, nor is she mostly boxer, but she does have three legs. She is such a sweetheart the shelter staff gave her more than one extension of time, and we just couldn't let her be euthanized. She is housetrained, crate trained, good with other dogs and overall very well behaved. You hardly hear a peep out of her. She acts as if no one told her she only has three legs and can keep up running laps in the yard with her foster brother and sister! She is very affectionate and loves belly rubs. All she needs now is her forever home that will spoil her and give her lots of love and attention.
