Well, some dogs are cute, some dogs are handsome, but this guy’s a HUNK! 

Here’s Diesel – our newest boy. He’s a sweetheart, and came from a home with many family members. Their small house was just not big enough for the parents, grandparents, children and grandchildren, and sadly, this meant Diesel was receiving less attention than he would have liked. His family reluctantly decided he’d be better off in a larger home with people who have more time to devote to him, and contacted us. 

He has never lived with cats, but his owner said he was fond of playing with one of the neighborhood dogs. His groomer said he paid little attention to her cat (who comes along in the mobile grooming van) when he was exposed to her. Diesel did well at the vet’s office, and with his neutering. They all loved him, and believe me, he is an impressive sight on a leash – this dog struts!! All heads turn as you walk down the street with him. He is getting used to his new foster sister, and we’ll update the site with more information as his personality unfolds. He seems very playful and wants to run around with most new dogs he meets.

Diesel is used to living with small children, although his dad says when he gets excited he tends to knock them over. He thought older kids would be better for him, only because of his size.
