11/21/03 - Ladybug
Ladybug has had a hard time this year. She was found as
a stray that had been loose in a rural valley for 3 weeks and nobody
claimed her. Upon vet exam, it was determined that she was in heat.
Ladybug's final litter was born 6/2/03-- they all have permanent homes as
of 7/28. Ladybug has been spayed and is current on all shots
including kennel cough.
Ladybug loves to ride in cars and trucks, walks well on
a leash and will sit, stay and "beg" for biscuits. She loves to play with
her ball, chew on bones and play with her figure-8 shaped tug toy. For the
past 4 months she has lived in a house with a 2 year-old female
Rottweiler and a 7 year-old male boxer. She loves to play with her Rottie
"sister" and tried hard to play with her boxer "brother," but he didn't
feel the same about her.
She does well with people including children, but likes
to be introduced slowly to new situations and new people. She gives lots
of love, does the boxer "wiggle dance" when her foster parents come home
and likes to have her teeth brushed and ears cleaned. Ladybug doesn't even
mind a bath and grooming. She has no known health problems.
