Delia has been spayed and is ready for that
special human to adopt her and love her FOREVER. You would never know this
princess is 6 years old. She has learned to play and run with her foster
sisters, Molly and Priscilla. She loves to run around the field with her
sisters leading the pack. She really enjoys a Kong toy filled with peanut
butter too. Oh, did I forget to tell you she smiles now? The spirit is
back in those big brown eyes and her face just lights up when you tell her
what a pretty girl she has become. This sweetheart is beautiful inside and
out. She needs tons of love and she will return 10 times the love back to
you!

More good news about Delia! She received a
clean bill of health at the vet! She will be spayed as soon as she gains
some weight. She is doing great!. She met my cat and was fine with him.
She is being introduced to my other two female Boxers slowly and so far
they have been fine together. They are young and a little too rough for
this little lady. When she gains some weight and learns how to play I know
they will love each other. The best news is that she is giving great Boxer
wiggles and sweet and gentle kisses. She is an absolute lady who is love
starved. She would be happy with a VERY gentle human who will love her up
all the time. When she looks at you with those big brown eyes all you will
want to do is love her back. Delia is a total LOVE BUG! A home with tons
of love to give her FOREVER is needed for this special sweetheart.
4/16/04 Delia
Delia is an absolute sweetheart of a Boxer.
She has been in her foster home now for three days and is doing better. She
was so dirty from living out on the streets and being in the shelter so I
gave her a warm bubble bath and she did not move an inch. She loved being
rubbed, brushed and dried. She is very thin and in need of lots of love.
I am offering her a little water every hour because she is dehydrated. She
is eating well and takes a treat like a gentle princess. She is very scared
and needs to be treated gently. She flinches a any loud sound or fast
movement. She walks perfectly on a leash always looking up at me with
those beautiful brown eyes. Those big brown eyes just beg for a gentle pets
and soft spoken words. She actually moved her tail back and forth once.
She doesn't give kisses or wiggles yet but I know she will once she
realizes she is in safe hands now. She deserves the kindest of human beings
to adopt her and give her the loving home she has never had. She will be
checked by the vet tonight and I will provide an update as soon as I hear
what the vet has to say about our newest little princess.

Delia
Delia is a 6-7 yr. old
female boxer girl that has had a rough life. She was picked up as a stray by
a Washington, DC shelter. She has been bred and was no longer any good so
they dumped her on the streets. She is very thin but loves everyone. She is
super sweet and in need of that great home that will take care of her like
she deserves. She is fine around other dogs and is in foster home now with 2
female boxers and will meet them soon. She will be checked by our vet this
week. Please open your heart to Delia. Doesn't she deserve a happy
ending?
