6/18/04 - Fiddy The city shelter called and asked if I would take a small 1 year old Boxer mix. They said she was much too sweet to stay in the shelter (or worse). When the staff tells me they have a special personality I always listen. Who sees more dogs than they do? Fiddy's NYC foster home writes: She's a great dog. She has no name. I'm currently calling her "fiddy", as in fiddy cent, since she's half the size of a normal boxer. She's adorable, playful, and mellow. She gets along terrifically with other dogs. We went to the park and the dog run, and she was fine with all dogs she met. She tugs a little on the leash, but she can definitely improve with some training. She needs to put on some weight. Already, everyone she meets is absolutely astonished that I pulled her out of a shelter just yesterday. She seems to be house trained, but I'm leaving her in the crate when I'm gone until I'm sure. She will get adopted very easily. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an online application first. Then e-mail the contacts below. Be sure to include your full name, city, state, and area code in the subject line of your message. |
