6/27/04 Jake is doing great in rescue. He is
housebroken and can be left free roam during the work day with a break
midway. He loves to go for a walk and is super friendly to all he meets. He
loves kids. He is OK with other dogs until you pay attention to one or the
other. He needs to adjust slowly and gradually to another dog. He gets too
excited and doesn't know how to act. He would do well as an only dog or a
home with the time and patience to get two dogs to coexist gradually. 6/17/04 - Jake Jake is a loving 18 month old neutered male brindle boxer. He is up to date on shots and ready for his new home. He is big and goofy. He is good with other dogs, he loved my Rudy and he was fine with my witchy female as well. He is great with kids, he loved my 7yr old and could not stop wagging his tail when he saw my daughter. He has had a rough life so far. He lived most of his life outside under a back porch. A woman who walks in the neighborhood offered to take the dog and they gave him to her. The kind lady who helped Jake had a cat and Jake does not like cats so he had to stay outside in her fenced yard until we could get him to us. He is now in foster with a male boxer and doing well. He needs a home that will spoil him rotten. He is the sweetest guy going. Our volunteer that drove him half of his 5 hr journey had him on his lap when he pulled into my drive way. Lifetime owners only. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an online application first. Then e-mail the contacts below.
