My husband and I adopted Beau in April..he was an 8 year old brindle male with cropped ears who was surrendered with his 3 others boxer brothers suddenly by his owner.  I need to have him put back onto the website ASAP...I was recently diagnosed with ovarian and uterine cancer with the possibility that it may be into my lymphatic system.  I will know more in the next few weeks. I already know that I have to have a full hysterectomy, radiation, and chemo.  My father in law has agreed to take my 2 year old female and our other male goes to work with my husband..so that leaves Beau, and I was basically told by my dr's that I am more than likely not even going to have the energy to take care of my kids, so I need to find Beau a home ASAP.  I DO NOT want him to go to a kennel.  This is an AWESOME dog.  He is the most flexible, loving. well mannered, and well adjusted dog I have ever met.  He came into our mix with 2 other boxers, 4 cats, and 2 kids (10 and 3) and meshed immediately.  I can keep him until I start my treatments in 3 weeks, so we do have some time to find him a home.  I just hate to see him bounced around.  He is house trained, knows sit, shake, down, lay etc.  He is the BEST!!  I wanted to tell anyone who has not considered a dog due to the age this is a GREAT dog and he deserves a loving home.  He has free roam of our house all day, and he is fine.  he sleeps on a doggie bed beside ours but is also in bed with us on occasion.  Usually he is in bed with me when my husband was at work and I was home recovering after my last surgery, he never left my side.  Our entire family really loves him but my parents have 2 dogs that are yippy, smaller and older and would not adjust to other animals well. So if you could please post this on the site ASAP I would greatly appreciate it.  We were told he is 8 but my vet thinks he may be 6 because he is so active and doesn't act like an 8 year old.  He is much more spry than my 7 year old male and keeps up with our 2 year old as well.
