Maggie has blossomed so beautifully!  She has been transformed from a skinny scared and pathetic pup to a beautifully well mannered petite Boxer.   Her eyes and her coat shine now.  Her coat shines for all the great food she is eating and her eyes shine now because of all the hugs and kisses she wants.  

Maggie needs to be with her human all the time.  If you are at home all day or can take her to work with you Maggie is your best traveling buddy.  She does NOT like to be alone.  She never wants to be given up again to experience a shelter!   When watching TV she is curled up by my side, when gardening, she is by my side. She will not let me out of her site which makes me feel very special.  

If you can give this little princess the best of the best then you may be the right person for Maggie!  Fill out an application and tell NBR you are the BEST and will give the BEST to MAGGIE!

9/14/04 -Maggie

Maggie is a 4 year old dark brindle boxer female with cropped ears and a docked tail.  Maggie was so well behave when we picked her up from the shelter that she just curled up in the back of my car and went to sleep.  After the hour ride, she picked her head up as we pulled into the vet to have her examined and spayed.  While waiting our turn to check in, she greeted everyone with great boxer wiggles and anyone who wanted the best boxer kisses got them. She looks as if she had puppies lately and was of no use to her human anymore.   She is a real sweetheart.  As soon as she has receives a clean bill of health and is spayed she will go to her foster home where we will learn more about this precious pup.  Maggie is extremely thin right now and needs to gain several pounds.  When she looks at you with those big brown eyes you can't help but kiss her!  She loves the attention and seems very love starved (food starved too!).  If you are someone who has lots of TLC to share, Maggie is like a sponge and would love to soak it up!!
