Toby is a really great dog.  He seems to be housebroken, but I do let him out regularly with my dogs and there has been no accidents. 

I did crate him at first - he doesn't bark but he did get anxious and drool in the crate....   I don't crate him now.  They played all the time at first but now things have settled down to normal. 

He like cats and kids and really likes other dogs.  We took our dogs and our neighbors Boxer to the park with Toby, he did great.  He comes when you call him, he will sit, sometimes lay, we are teaching him to shake.  We took him to a picnic last Sunday.  He was great with everyone.  He only seems to jump up if I have been gone for awhile, not any other time.  He walks well on a leash, no pulling or jumping.

He follows me everywhere and is very needy, as most pups are, to me and my dogs.  If I leave the room, he is awake and following me.  I am sure he was last on the attention list. 

He gets neutered Thursday.  I will keep you posted.

9/14/04 - Toby

Toby is a 9 month old light brindle male boxer that is as sweet as can be. Toby is full of life, a super energetic young boxer boy. He is good with other dogs and is a quick learner. His former owner dropped him off at a PA shelter. His owners just couldn't take care of him properly. He said he needs some reminders on housebreaking but has not had an accident yet at his foster home. He follows the other dogs and takes their lead. He will be neutered and up to date on shots ASAP. He would do well with a home with a fence and a home with the time for basic training. Toby is a great dog.
