Patch Patch is a handsome white male, neutered and up to date on shots. Due to a change in living arrangements, he is sharing a tiny apartment with two other humans, and he’s not getting as much attention as he needs any longer. He’s not used to a terribly long work schedule; his owner leaves him alone no longer than 5 hours. He loves to go for car rides, and loves kids of all ages. Patch does NOT like cats at all, but doesn’t mind birds. Although he seems to enjoy visiting with other dogs, he had begun fighting with his sister, with whom he lived until recently. It may have been due to stress in the household, but he’d probably do best as an only dog, unless the other dog in the house was extremely submissive. Patch knows sit and stay, and is used to being allowed to sleep in bed with his owner and sit on the furniture. He is a wonderful “people dog” and loves to play and just hang out with his owners. He spooks when he hears loud noises; trucks or motorcycles, etc. He needs a good run every day, and a fenced yard would be a huge benefit. If you’d like to learn more about our sweet boy, please contact us – he’ll be waiting! If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an online application first.
