Augie was cat-tested today, and it appears he doesn't have more than a passing interest in them. This means that with supervision and the correct handling, he can probably co-exist with cats and eventually become friends. Because we don't know his past history with cats, he would need to be separated from them at first when no one is home. 11/02/02 - Here's Augie - we were told by the animal shelter that he doesn't like women... not true! Augie's a loving, adorable boy - highly intelligent and motivated to learn. He's also your typical adolescent - pushy, and always looking to see what he can get away with. This is the cutest dog - these pictures really don't do him justice, but Augie was a little camera-shy the day I took these, and repeatedly turned away from me. I think the camera unnerved him a little. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an online application first. Then e-mail the contact below.
