Maggie is a 4 month old puppy who broke her back leg. Her owner brought her to a veterinarian to have it fixed. The surgery was done and within one week the pin that was placed in the leg came loose. When the pin moves it must be removed but the leg was not healed. After spending over $2200 the vet told her she needed to see a specialist. Maggie's owner did not have the large amount of money the specialist wanted to correct the first vet's mistake.

Maggie's owner contacted me and surrendered her to rescue. The next day she was operated on by a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon. The first pin was removed and two cross pins were placed in the leg.

Maggie is now recuperating and her spirits are high even though she is in pain. We are praying her leg will heal without any complications from her first surgery.
