Roxie Roxie is doing very well in her new home, and her dad writes, "Thought I should provide you with an update of how Roxie is doing. She is doing very, very well and getting acclimated quite nicely. She is such a sweetheart with lots of love to give. Okay, I admit it - I let her sleep in the bed with me her first night. I'll probably wind up getting suckered into doing to same tonight too. She gives you those puppy dog eyes you know and it's hard to say no." 11/25/02: New Pic 11/18/02 - This is Roxie, a very sweet young girl who is looking for a good home with a family who has time for her and will give her a lot of love and attention. She loves people and giving kisses but may be a little to enthusiastic for small children. Roxie is a 2 year old, 60 pound, flashy brindle spayed female, with lots of personality. She is an owner give-up, so her health records will be provided. She is a dominant female and would probably do best as an only dog, but she has lived with a senior, male dog since she was a puppy. She needs to live with a family who have the time to provide her with lots of exercise and socialization, and who will take her to training classes, as her manners are a little unpolished. A fenced yard will probably be necessary. She will need time and patience, but well worth the effort. She is house broken and has always lived indoors. Her former owner had her on Science Diet, as she has had problems in the past with sensitive skin, but has not been a problem while on this diet. She has never been around cats, so we don’t know if that would be a possibility, but we think it might be unlikely. Roxie needs a home with a fenced yard so she can get her exercise. She needs time and love as any of our dogs do.
