Meet Violet, a 4-6 month old brindle terrier pup:

At dusk on Tuesday my husband and his friend spotted Violet trotting frantically on the side of a deserted road. They immediately stopped the car and Violet ran to them, wagging her tail crazily. She hopped in the car and starting kissing my husband Michael, his friend, and his 4 year old son. She was hungry, scared and collarless. 

Luckily, Violet is in our care now and is doing beautifully. Whoever dropped her off made a huge mistake-she is terrific. She currently lives with two male rescue dogs, and gets along GREAT with males and females. 

Her interests include napping, playing and kissing everyone she meets. We have tested her with kids of all ages and she is great-patient and playful. We are 75% there with housebreaking and she loves her crate! This dog is truly a gem.  I envy the family who gets to adopt her!
