Aretha

female puppy
needs special person to care for her.

Adopted 09/24/02

09/08/02 -

Aretha is a 8 or 9 month old fawn female who has spent the first two weeks in rescue being cared for by one of our participating vets and her staff. They once again stepped up to help one of our most needy dogs.

Aretha was found as a stray in Brooklyn and in horrible condition. She had a bad case of demodex mange, (which is not contagious), and a severe upper respiratory infection. She is undergoing treatment for both and is responding well.

Everyone loves her at the office, she still does her little boxer wiggle and gives great kisses to all. She is expected to be released soon and is now in need of a loving, caring home.

Aretha is up to date on shots, heartworm neg., but cannot be spayed until her condition clears up. As she was found as a stray and we have no prior history on her she will not be placed in a home with young children.

If you have room in your hearts and home to nurture this poor baby back to health then please e-mail us your name, city, state and phone number after filling out an on line application.

RESCUE NEEDS YOUR HELP TO PAY FOR HER MEDICAL EXPENSES. PLEASE HELP US HELP ARETHA!****
