Barbara sends a warm Thank You! She says….
”The support from fellow Boxer owners has been wonderful. I have
received letters, cards, packages and pictures from Boxers and their humans
from all of the USA. Thank you. Every package and card sent is
shared with my platoon and others in the unit.”
Please keep sending your letters, photos, and packages to Barbara.
You have no idea how much it means to her. Thank you.
Barbara Pepin is our friend and rescue colleague who is stationed in Iraq.
She misses her family, her friends, and her dogs back home. The conditions
where she is living are harsh and we can’t begin to imagine the stress she
must endure each day.
We are asking you to help cheer Barb up and send her cards, letters, and
packages from the States. We asked her if she had any requests from home and
this is what she said:
“All mail is welcomed as well as care packages. The girls and I miss good
razors (like the Venus), nice soaps, gels and most of all body sprays. The
only other thing I crave is pictures of the dogs I can hang up. How I miss
the dogs.”
Please send mail and packages to Barbara at the following address via Post
Office mail only:

Mail takes about 10 to 15 days and packages about 15 to 45 depending on the
size and how they are sent. The good news is you only pay postage to the APO
which is in New York. The government picks up the bill the rest of the way.
The mail goes on government transport. The post office is the only one who
ships to an APO address.
We know Barbara would really appreciate hearing from fellow Boxer lovers so
please take the time to let her know you care. Barbara will be away from
home until next fall. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
