Bo

Adopted 5/20/02

4/23/02 - Bo has come along way in the weeks that he has been  in rescue and now its time he finds a home of his own. He has gained over twenty pounds and is no longer as obsessed with eating as he was when he had been starved. He still hates cats and would be great as an only dog, crate trained, housebroken, sits and shakes hands. He still pulls when leash walked but we are working on that. He would do best in a home without children as we have no past history on him. He has become a very loving laid back kind of guy who really needs people  of his own.

3/07/02 - Bo is a 4 year old, owner-surrender to the shelter.  The owner had too many dogs to feed, and it really shows on poor Bo. He is under 40 lb. and should be at least 60 lb.  He is starting to eat more food each day, but this has to be done gradually to prevent bloat. He is neutered and up to date on shots, fecal and heartworm negative. Bo likes other dogs but cannot be anywhere near a cat. He walks well on our walks and knows the basic sit, stay. It is really amazing how much he seems to like his foster mom and all the other people he has met after being so badly treated by his previous owner.  He still loves and trusts people, wiggles like crazy when spoken to. Do you have the same love in your heart as Bo does?
