This dog has been adopted but has
not yet completed the two week "trial period" in it's new home. Should the
placement prove to be a poor fit for dog and/or family, he/she will be moved to
the AVAILABLE section on the Available Dogs page.
- 6/24/00 - Bozwell is a handsome, well cared for, neutered fawn male, who turns two in July. Boz is much loved by his owners, who sadly have a number of medical problems now, and it is extremely hard for them to keep up with an exuberant "teenager." Boz is very well behaved in the house, and will bark to let you know someone is at the door. He is rather territorial and I don't recommend him for a home where visitors are apt to drop by unannounced. He's great with children (over 10 is best), probably too physical for young ones, and has never been with cats. Boz hasn't had a lot of contact with other dogs, but does like the owner's son's golden retriever who comes to visit. Boz is not used to being alone for the entire day, because his owners are retired, but they have had no problems leaving him for a couple of hours at a time while they go out.
