"Bruzer"
This
dog has been adopted but has not yet completed the two week "trial
period" in it's new home. Should the placement prove to be a poor fit for dog
and/or family, he/she will be moved to the AVAILABLE section on the Available
Dogs page.
3/26/01 - BRUZER WAS BORN ON JAN 08, 2001. HE WEIGHED 17.2OZ. BRUZER WILL BE Neutered ASAP !!!!!!
From Bruzers Owners: "IT WASN'T LONG AFTER BRUZER WAS WITH US THAT WE NOTICED A PROBLEM WITH HIS HEARING. THE VET CONFIRMED IT AND IT HAS BROKEN OUR HEARTS. HE IS SUCH A SWEET PUP BUT AS I TOLD YOU BESIDES NOT HAVING THE PATIENCE TO TRAIN HIM, ONE OF THE MAIN REASONS FOR WANTING HIM WAS AS A PROTECTOR TO MY STEP SON. I KNOW HE WOULD BE A GREAT DOG, HE IS A MUSH AND JUST SO ADORABLE. IT JUST DOES NOT MAKE SENSE TO US TO HAVE A HUGE DOG THAT CANNOT HEAR. HOW CAN HE PROTECT US OR BE A GOOD WATCH DOG?? BRUZER IS UP TO DATE ON HIS SHOTS. HIS TAIL WAS CUT AS WELL AS THE DEWCLAWS REMOVED. WHEN I TOOK HIM TO THE VET ON MARCH 15 HE WEIGHED 17.5 LBS AND I THINK HE IS OVER 20 LBS NOW. HE IS ALMOST HOUSETRAINED. HE HAS LEARNED A LOT FROM BEING WITH HIS MOTHER SO CLOSELY. HE WATCHES HER AND STICKS CLOSE TO HER. WHEN HE IS TIRED HE WILL COME UP TO YOU AND LET YOU KNOW AND CUDDLE UP ON YOU. HE HAS NOT CHEWED ANY FURNITURE SO FAR BUT DOES LIKE TO CHEW ON TWIGS AND STICKS HE FINDS OUTSIDE. HE IS A GOOD EATER. WE HAVE BEEN FEEDING HIM 3 TIMES A DAY."
