Poor Cinnamon needs a
break! Cinny is a wonderful, 4 year old, brindle, female boxer that
almost had it made. She was rescued from a shelter by a nice family 8 months
ago, and they had every intention of keeping her. However, she and the
other female boxer in the home recently started fighting. Cinnamon does get
along well with the male boxer in the home, although she likes to be the
dominant partner in play. Cinny weighs about 60 lbs, has no known health
problems, is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and on monthly heartworm
preventative.
Cinny is a growly talker and player but seldom barks when playing or interacting with anyone or anything. She springs around the backyard like a puppy when playing with her buddy. Cinny has also been living with a cat and toddler – both of whom she adores. She has also been visited by other young children and has enjoyed their company immensely. Cinny greets strangers with a shy wiggle and warms up very quickly. She loves to “hug” by standing on her hind legs and putting her front legs around your waist. Laying across your lap is another of her favorite positions. Previously Cinnamon was not allowed on the furniture, but since the Grandmother has moved into the home, she is now sleeping in bed with her and the kitty! A fenced yard is a
must for this girl, as she will run off if given the chance. She is used to
having someone home most of the time, but does fine being left loose in the
house for up to 5 hours. She has been crated with another dog in the same
crate (something we would NOT recommend). Cinny has never had an accident
in the house, not even during the initial adjustment period. She loves to
Cinnamon's story is a heartbreaker. She was originally left tied to a cinder block and left outside of a shelter in the dead of winter. Soon after arrival she gave birth to puppies, and after the puppies were weaned Cinny was scheduled to be killed. This is when her present family stepped in to rescue her....and now sadly Cinny must find another home. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an online application first.
