Coffee is now ready for permanent placement. She is doing GREAT. 90% of her hair has come back. She is now one of the cutest boxers we have had in rescue. Coffee loves the other dogs in her foster home so we would like to place her in a home with another dog. She is completely housebroken and non destructive when left alone.

7/12/03 -  Coffee was surrendered to the animal shelter by her former owners.  She is suffering from demodex mange.  This condition is not contagious, and it is treatable.  Left untreated, the results are terrible.  Poor Coffee has no hair on her body.  Many times, a secondary skin infection follows.

Recently, Faith came into rescue in a similar condition.  Happily, she found a wonderful new home this week.

Coffee will begin treatment at our veterinarian's office this week.  As soon as the mange is under control, she will be available for adoption.  She is a typical year-old boxer - very happy and wiggly, and utterly adorable. .  She is crate trained, good with other dogs, housetrained, and knows some basic commands (sit, stay, shake).

Open your heart to this dog.  If you can't invite her into your home, we appreciate even the smallest monetary donations to help offset the cost of her treatment.
