This dog has been adopted but has not yet completed the two week "trial period" in it's new home. We are no long accepting applications or inquiries. Should the placement prove to be a poor fit for dog and/or family, he/she will be moved to the AVAILABLE section on the Available Dogs page.

• 6/30/01 - Cutie was spayed on Tuesday, updated on shots and tested negative for heartworms and parasites. She is a very loving little girl who wants a lot of attention ,seems to like everyone but her favorite people are kids, when walking outside she gets all excited if she sees kids playing and then we have to walk over to them so she can say Hello. She is housebroken and walks well on leash but doesn't seem to respond to commands as sit or shake hands, so I think she needs a little bit of work. If you re up to a challenge, this little boxer mix girl will make some family a great pet .She is also being fostered at a home  where all of the other dogs are three times her size and she is intimidated by them so she is being kept by herself. She really needs a home of her own where she doesn't need to be kept crated as much .Can it be yours?

• 6/26/01- Cutie is a 10 month old boxer/am staff mix with a true boxer personality. She was found in Queens NY wearing a collar and a bandanna but no tags. She was found by two kids ,7&13 yrs. old who fell in love and made mom contact rescue instead of the shelter. She seems to be housebroken, good on leash and good in the car. Cutie went to the vet today to be spayed and shots. She is only 33 lbs and a great kisser.
