"Daisey"

This dog has been adopted but has not yet completed the two week "trial period" in it's new home. We are no long accepting applications or inquiries. Should the placement prove to be a poor fit for dog and/or family, he/she will be moved to the AVAILABLE section on the Available Dogs page.

• 4/5/01 - Daisey is a ten month old boxer female that was turned into rescue when her elderly owner was put in the hospital and could not care for her .She is very intelligent and could easily be trained to do search and rescue or become a therapy dog.  Her past owner trained her to sit before the door when leaving and knows all her basic obedience commands.  The foster home where she is has two adult dogs and a puppy. Daisey and the puppy play together all day long.  She also is good with cats horses, birds, and dogs.  Besides playing with the puppy she also loves tennis balls Daisey will chase and retrieve the ball as long as your willing to throw it.  She loves toys and will throw them in the air and catch them.  The cold does not seem to bother her since loves to be outside in our fenced yard chasing the other dogs. 
  
  A perfect home for Daisey would be a home with a younger dog so she would be able to have a playmate.  I ALSO WOULD LIKE TO SEE HER more than a pet because she has much more potential. But ultimately I want her in a home that will spoil her and give her lots of love.
