Bailey and Dante are half brothers (one week apart). Their owner has had them since they were
three months old. Bailey and Dante MUST SLEEP TOGETHER
or they will walk around all night. They sleep on dog beds by the bed and
love to be on the sofa. They are trained to stay off the furniture, but we all know how that
goes...they end up cozy on it frequently. Their regular schedule looks something like this: They are
walked early in the morning, between
7:15 and 7:30, then again around 3:30 or 4:00, and then again before bedtime
at 9:30 or 10pm. They walk ok on a leash (pulling some), and are not darters- they generally hang
around without running afar.
With children .. they are absolutely great with
them. They are around so many children, so often...in and out of the house, ranging from 6
months old to 13 years old. They are extremely playful.
With other dogs...Bailey and Dante
are absolutely great with other dogs (who allow them to be). For some reason
other dogs are a bit aggressive with them. The owner believed this was because Dante and Bailey
are pretty big dogs and so when together,
other big dogs are intimidated .. But she is not sure.
If no one is home, Bailey is crated. Bailey will chew on whatever he can find.
Dante is okay to roam. Bailey is definitely high maintenance and extremely
energetic. Dante is mellow but fun. Usually around the house they chase
eachother, and play fight, take naps together - keeping
eachother entertained.
Bailey and Dante do everything together that is why it is so important for us
to keep them together. They eat together from the same plate. If you try feeding them
separately,they will eat from one plate together and move to
the next together. Bailey is the barker .... anyone coming in the house, you'll know about it. Bailey
will get into the garbage if you let him. Bailey
loves to be hugged and kissed, where as Dante doesn't need it all the time.
If you give Dante attention, Bailey will come over very, jealous and
throw himself on you or bark at you to talk to him.
4/25/00 - Bailey and Dante are 1/2 brothers born 1 week apart, same dad, different mom. One brindle one fawn, both neutered. One is an angel, the other a bit more mischievous, both very loveable. Both cropped and docked. I believe they are between 2-3 yrs old. Will post more info soon! If you are looking for a package deal, this could be your chance.
