"DeeDee"

This dog has been adopted but has not yet completed the two week "trial period" in it's new home. We are no long accepting applications or inquiries. Should the placement prove to be a poor fit for dog and/or family, he/she will be moved to the AVAILABLE section on the Available Dogs page.

• 5/10/01 - DeeDee is a 4-6 year old spayed female, she has had at least one litter. She is UTD on shots and HW- and has had HeartGuard. She is a bit thin, but getting better eating good food. She is a bit shy at first, but is warming up quickly. She loves to play with the big puppy, and loves to cuddle! She is house broken, knows sit and will go into her crate, but not willingly. 
  
  DeeDee was seized by the ACO of a CT town from a collector/BYB (not sure which) along with two other dogs. The other two are well on their way to new and happy lives. DeeDee can be a bit rough at times, but it takes provocation to get her so. She has never been too rough with a human. She has been great with our two year old grandson, the small dogs in the house and the guinea pigs. She doesn't do well with the alpha female boxer or the snappy Chi/Boston mix. 
  
  DeeDee would do well in an adult home, and would enjoy having another boxer size dog around, especially one that enjoys playing and not being too snappish. She enjoys her food and water, likes cookies but isn't too sure about toys (we are working on that). I haven't taken her out for a walk yet, but she did pull when I brought her home.
