"
Dinah"
This dog has been adopted but has not yet completed the two week "trial period" in it's new home. Should the placement prove to be a poor fit for dog and/or family, he/she will be moved to the AVAILABLE section on the Available Dogs page.
7/29/01 - DINAH-spayed female about 1 year old. She is housebroken and up to date on vaccines. Dinah has just come into foster from a shelter but she seems to be a sweet loving girl. She has been getting along with all my dogs except for a few bickers about food. She is thin, she needs about 5 pounds, so this may be why she is like that about her food. She is in foster with cats and children and so far I have not had any problems. I cannot say right now whether she would be good with young kids, but we will see how things progress.
She has been very clingy to me and gets anxious in the crate, she is ok
there at night and hasn't had any accidents in the crate. But she does chew
her blanket and bark during the day. Her teeth where silver from her biting
the wire bars in the shelter.
I would not place her in a home at this time where someone is not home all
day. She is just too upset when I leave. I don't know if this will change as
she gets settled in.
Look for updates as things progress.
