Thank You for your Donation -

Hi Dawn,

I hope you and your family - and all the boxers you care for - are doing well.   Molly, Keith and I are doing great.

As you can see form the attached picture, Keith ran in the Greater Hartford Marathon this weekend - 26.2 miles! and he raised $500.00 for Northeast Boxer.  This was his first marathon and he did it!   I was his biggest fan and wore this tee-shirt proudly!

Can you email me the correct mailing address to send our donation check to?

Thanks Dawn,
JoAnne Larson, Keith Burr and Molly too!  (I am also attaching Molly's "fall" photo!)

Molly is doing great.  She is such a good dog -- a bit spoiled, but she deserves to be spoiled!

A very special Thank You to some Special Boxer Kids...

"Here's the photo of the kids with their lemonade stand (technically cupcakes and Kool-Aid).
Next time we're having an iced cafe mocha stand! that'll really rake in the bucks!"  Deanna

Info on the kids in the photo for the lemonade stand:

They are Danielle, Kyle and Olivia (smallest).  It was their own idea to have the proceeds go to boxers, even the tip jar!  They are currently in the process of deciding what to sell in our upcoming garage sale, with proceeds to boxers as well!  I'm so proud of them for putting the dogs first instead of wanting the latest Gameboy game or Barbie.  They are on the site arguing over which available dog is the best on a daily basis!

Isn't it great the way we support each other when one has a problem? Lois does the same for many when they have a problem so it only makes sense that someone would help her.

I have a similar tale, to dispel some of the evil from Rocky's story over the weekend. I went to get dog food for my gang, they had set up a container for donations for little Gracie who needed surgery (see www.boxerrescue.com).

Didn't think anything of it but Barb came out with an envelop. I guess Peter read my look and said, " There's plenty in bills in there too." No kidding. Total strangers who just happen to love dogs donated nearly $100 for her! We'll be sending a check to NBR as soon as we can deposit the money.

Hello, it's me again.

Each month in our office, one of the girls collects money from the other girls for 'Friday Dress Down Day'. The money that's collected is give to a charity of their choice. I would like to donate the money that I collected to Boxer Rescue in memory of my Nikki who, as you know, died last February. I hope you don't mind, but I attached a picture of her. I still miss her terribly, and I saw some faces on the website that reminded me of her and I hope they could benefit by her donation. I just need to know where I should send the check to. I'm still not able to put up a fence and adopt/foster a dog, but I would like to help out in some other way. I am willing to do anything that the Boxers need to get done.

Sincerely,
Janel
