This dog has been adopted but has not yet completed the two week "trial period" in it's new home. We are no long accepting applications or inquiries. Should the placement prove to be a poor fit for dog and/or family, he/she will be moved to the AVAILABLE section on the Available Dogs page.

• 12/8/01 - Freckles is a black and white 2-year-old boarder collie/lab mix.

  Freckles was found in the bushes of a mall, very frightened and too

  exhausted to even stand up. She appears to be very sad but has started

  to bond with her foster caregiver. Freckles would do best living in a

  calm, adult home. She seems to be afraid of other dogs, and she hasn't

  met any cats yet. We don't know how this sweet little girl ended up

  alone and scared, but she needs someone to love her now. If you are
