"George"
11/16/01 - This cute pup is living in NYC and I was asked to help find him a permanent home. His foster family writes: "George is a seven-month-old boxer-mix pup in need of a loving home. George was rescued by park workers at East River Park in Manhattan on October 13, and he's lived as a foster dog with my fiancee and me since then. He's affectionate with both people and other dogs. He's in excellent health and very high spirits. He is crate-trained for times we're out of the apartment. His temperament is loving and very playful. In the mornings and evenings he loves to doze with his head in your lap. When he's up-and-at-'em, he likes to play tug-of-war and chase games. George has had his shots and will be neutered before adoption. He hasn't been around cats or children. He's a loyal and hilarious companion -- we'd love to keep him, but our East Village apartment is just too small."
Because George is a young dog we will place him with kids but not under five years old.
If you are interested in giving George his permanent home please fill out an
