Gracie & Sargent

Adopted 5/29/02

5/06/02 - Gracie & Sargent  were turned into the Manhattan shelter when their owner became too ill to care for them. They were separated and held for 10 days. When their time was up, the shelter called rescue. I picked them up yesterday and when they were reunited it was a party. They were so glad to see each other. Sargent lost a great deal of weight while at the shelter. It would be nice if we could place them in the same home.

Gracie is a 3 year old light brindle female with natural ears. Sargent is a flashy fawn male with cropped ears. The shelter recorded his age as 3 1/2 but I think he is older.  The dogs are now safe in a boarding kennel (we are short of foster homes) and are being housed together.
If you want to provide a home for these two please fill out an online application and e-mail the contact below. Be sure to include your full name and where you live in your e-mail.
