8/16/02 -  Gunner & Bryan are being fostered by a friend of boxer rescue.

Bryan is a little over a year old, friendly, happy, healthy, housetrained, neutered and up-to-date on shots.  He's a mixed breed sweetie rescued from an abusive man who was kicking him into traffic (luckily he was not hurt). We feel he would make a great "kid dog" or companion to an athletic person/couple/family.  Bryan would also make a great agility dog with the right training!

Gunner is an adult lab who belonged to his foster mom's aunt's neighbor in Florida.  Gunner was treated successfully for heartworm and is doing great now. He has two hot spots on his left legs (front and rear) that have been there for some time, but they are healing, slowly but surely.

Gunner is easygoing, sweet, and laid back. He likes to go for strolls and enjoys riding in the car. (He and Bryan are best buds now and enjoy wrestling in the backyard and playing ball -- Bryan tends to bring out the child in every dog he meets!)

Gunner and Bryan are great guys with no "hang ups" they just need a break -- and great forever homes.  It would be great to be able to place these two dogs together, but it is not necessary.  They can go to separate homes.
